The National Authority for remote sensing and space sciences has a position open for a "Financial and Procurement Specialist" for its project with the WB the “Regional Coordination on Improved Water Resources Management and capacity Building program” . the position require a B.S. in finance or accounting and three years of experience in international programs and relevant position. The closing date for applications is November 30, 2014. Interested persons should submit a resume and a cover letter.
Duties include:
Preparing all financial processes and prepare relevant documents including:

Managing and controlling the projects accounts, and producing relevant financial reports as needed.

Preparation of the monthly bank reconciliation statements for reconciled bank accounts.

Maintaining any financial transactions by writing invoices, and preparing disbursement.

Doing follow-ups as required from the financial controller’s on any financial matters with relevant departments of the World Bank.

Handling financial statements and preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required on the approval of the financial controller and the project coordinator.

Input financial data into the accounting system.

Handling Financial documents and processes

Handling all procurement documents and processes
-
Preparing Financial and Progress Reports

Provide overall financial assistance support to Project coordinator and project staff based on the project's objectives and when required.

Organize and maintain an up to date inventory of the project's fixed assets as per the procurement plan.

Ensure expedite delivery and follow-up on the project documentation submitted to the World Bank and to the implementing Agencies.
Coordinating all procurement matters including:

Procure offers and consultant service proposals.

Recording and archiving of all contracts, contract adjustment, and related correspondence
-
Review and update on the agreed procurement plan.
