Workshop on Geomatics for Ecosystem based adaptation in the dry areas of North Africa

As it aims to more openness on the regional and international areas and on the occasion of the celebration of the World Day to combat desertification (WDCD) which is celebrated this year 2014 under the banner of “ecosystems-based adaptation”.
The Regional Center for Remote Sensing of North African States( CRTEAN ) took the initiative to organize an international training workshop jointly organized by the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils and the Institute of Arid Regions - Medenine, Tunisia. The workshop based on Geometrics digital in order to adapt ecosystems in dry areas of the North African countries, which mainly focused on the role of Geomatics in order to adapt to the development and manage of dry lands ,and the island of Djerba, Tunisia is the place where it was chosen to be held During Jun,21 to 24. 2014, The whole organizers bore the cost of the organization of this session, including full board of the attendees, as well as the majority of their tickets.
